Battleworks and Map Control in March of Giants
Use Battleworks to support frontline decisions, Soldier movement, and retreats in March of Giants without assuming unreleased map or structure statistics.
Convert a structure into space
A Battleworks choice is valuable because it changes how players and Soldiers can move through an area. A structure that does not protect a route, create pressure, or buy time may be less useful than holding the resource for a clearer moment.
Read Battleworks overview for the named system concepts, then use Soldier control basics to connect construction to army movement.
Support a Soldier task
Choose the structure after identifying the Soldier task. A hold may need protection, a push may need a safer approach, and a retreat may need time. The Giant should remain part of that plan; how Giants lead Soldiers explains why.
Avoid fixed placement claims
The game is in testing and public pages do not yet publish a final map atlas or complete structure table. This means a screenshot can show what existed in one build without proving that the same placement, range, or cost is current.
Use Battlefield overview and 4v4 battle basics as principles, then date any future placement notes.
